Air India Crash in Ahmedabad: Canteen Worker Searches for Loved Ones

Around 30 minutes before an Air India jet tragically crashed into a college hostel in Ahmedabad, Ravi Thakor, a cook in the hostel canteen, and his wife stepped out to deliver lunchboxes – leaving behind their family. The crash resulted in the loss of at least 271 lives, devastating the community. Ravi Thakor, who works at the hostel, tragically lost his mother and daughter in the accident, prompting a desperate search by him and his wife to find them.

As authorities work to identify the deceased using DNA samples, a glimmer of hope emerged when it was reported that one passenger miraculously survived the crash. In the midst of this tragedy, Ravi Thakor clings to faith, praying for a ‘second miracle’ to reunite him with his missing loved ones.

Less than a minute before the crash, Flight AI171 had taken off bound for London, carrying 242 passengers and crew. The scene at the crash site is described as shocking, highlighting the devastating impact of the incident on the community and beyond.

Despite the uncertainty surrounding the cause of the crash, analysts express concerns over the potential impact on global demand for Boeing planes, given the manufacturer’s history of safety issues. However, the focus remains on the tragic loss of lives and the ongoing search for answers and closure in the aftermath of the Air India crash.
