In a monumental achievement for Pine Bluff Wastewater Utility, the National Association of Clean Water Agencies awarded them the Peak Performance Platinum 15 Award. This prestigious accolade was given in recognition of the utility’s extraordinary accomplishment of maintaining 100% compliance with its wastewater discharge permit for 15 continuous years.

Manager Ken Johnson expressed his pride in this achievement, stating, “This is a monumental accomplishment in our 136-year history.” The Pine Bluff Wastewater Utility received the Peak Performance Platinum 15 Award on June 21, 2025.

Head of the utility, Ken Johnson, shared the news of one of his employees, Amber Faucette, receiving her Class IV operator license from the state Division of Environmental Quality. This license is the highest designation for a wastewater operator in the country, showcasing the expertise and dedication of the utility’s staff.
