Former Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Henry Ruggs III publicly apologized to the family of Tina Tintor, the woman he killed in a drunk driving accident in November 2021. Ruggs traveled at speeds of up to 156 mph in Las Vegas on the night of the fatal crash and had a blood alcohol content of 0.161, more than twice the legal limit in Nevada.

Tintor was 23 years old. Henry Ruggs III expressed remorse at a Hope for Prisoners event in Las Vegas, acknowledging the pain he caused the Tintor family and accepting responsibility for his actions. He was subsequently sentenced to three years in prison for the tragic incident.
