Exciting Update: SpaceX Ax-4 Mission Set for Launch and Return
If Ax-4 launches on time Tuesday, the mission will arrive at the ISS on Wednesday (June 11) at around 12:30 p.m. EDT (1630 GMT). The Ax-4 astronauts will spend about two weeks living and working on the International Space Station. The launch could happen as early as the morning of Tuesday, June 10, from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center.
Those watching from home will have plenty of options to catch a livestream of the spaceflight. NASA, Axiom Space, and SpaceX are targeting no earlier than 8:22 a.m. EDT on Tuesday, June 10, for launch of the fourth private astronaut mission to the International Space Station, Axiom Mission 4.
This shift allows teams to account for predicted inclement weather during the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket and Dragon spacecraft transport in addition to completing final processing of the spacecraft. The historic Axiom-4 (AX-4) private spaceflight mission to the International Space Station (ISS) is scheduled to launch on Tuesday, June 10, at 8:22 a.m. EDT (5:52 p.m. IST) from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The mission will carry four astronauts from four different countries.
